How do you dispense self-leveller or water without hauling buckets?
Self-levelling underlayment sets on a clock, and the clock starts when it's mixed. Every trip back to the bucket is time the pour isn't happening.

Why it matters
A self-leveller pour has to be continuous. Every pause where you go back for another bucket is a cold joint in the surface, and cold joints show.
A valved reservoir lets one person steer a controlled stream exactly where it's needed. That's a two-person job done by one.
What good looks like
- The valve seals fully closed with no weep
- One person can start, steer and stop the flow without help
- Whatever's in the can gets dispensed before it kicks
How to apply it
- Install a bulkhead valve low on the can wall — low enough to drain, high enough to clear the base radius.
- Test it with water first. Find the leak now, not with 60 kg of levelling compound in the can.
- Fill, open the valve, and steer the flow with the hose.
- Close it, and clean the valve and hose immediately.
Exceptions & tradeoffs
Self-levellers set fast. Only mix what the can can dispense before it kicks — a can of set compound is a very heavy problem.
Clean the valve straight away, every time. Cured product in the valve body ends the tool.
A full can of slurry is heavy and top-heavy. Fill it where it's going to be used.
